Once you convert a drive or partition to NTFS, you cannot simply convert it back to FAT or FAT32. You will need to reformat the drive or partition which will erase all data, including programs and personal files, on the partition.
Converting FAT 32 File System to NTFS
1. Click on Start > Run. Type cmd and click OK. This will open cmd.exe.
2. Type convert Drive letter(drive to be converted to ntfs like D):/fs:ntfs. Press enter. It will look like
3. Then it will ask to enter Label name. It should be correct. To know the File System of Drive open My Computer. Right click on Disk Drive(C:, D:) and choose Properties. In General tab check name in line which shows a disk drive. It looks like
In my case it is Transcend. Enter correct label name. Press enter. A conversion will start.
